    Omar’s Story:

    Omar’s Story: Born in Cuba and came over at the age of 7 with his mom and siblings. Churches were sponsoring Cuban families with a program called Peter Pan. They were sponsored to go to Chicago, Illinois. His father joined them and they were together with the help of the St. Patrick’s church in Chicago. Times were tough growing up but Omar was still able to excel in sports with track and power lifting. He was actually able to get a scholarship for music since he was also gift with his Mom’s beautiful soprano voice. Omar’s dad was able to accumulate within seven years three gas stations, an auto part store, a block full of real estate and his own home. Omar’s dad knew how accumulate material wealth but did not know how to keep it. His dad had a heart attack when Omar was in college and so Omar went back home to help the family get back on their feet. LISTEN UP to hear what Omar did to rebuild his family’s life and his own.

    Later on Omar moves to California and starts a business to train celebrities like Tom Selleck, Gregory Harrison, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and also work as a salesman since they make a lot of money. Things were not getting better and he tapped into the power of prayer. He ask God to help him, then one of the investors of the fitness club he work at also manages speakers like: Tom Hopkins, Jim Rohn, Dr. Maxwell Maltz, Zig Ziglar, and Bob Proctor. The investor asked Omar to train him since Omar was the top trainer. Omar had never heard of the speakers and the investor decided to help Omar by taking him under his wing. Omar went from the worst sales person to the number 1 in the country in health and fitness. Omar created a name for himself and with the help of the investor they both built and bought health clubs. They built the largest health club in the United States. By the age of 31 they sold the clubs and became a multi-millionaire and so Omar went off to sing since he enjoyed it.

    Omar was still lost while he was singing. Omar went back to prayer and then he walked in on a meeting that his investor was having with his speakers: Tom Hopkins and Jim Rohn. The speakers invited him to go on the road with them and it lasted a decade. Now Omar has 14 bestselling books and considered in the top 10 in his industry. Zig Ziglar wrote the forward to one of Omar’s books. Omar say it would be a shame not to invest his life into other people like his mentors did for him. Omar believes it’s his duty his mission his passion to help other the way he was helped.

    Most Influential Person:

    • Zig Ziglar, a close mentor and personal friend, changed Omar’s life both spiritually and successfully.  LISTEN UP to who else was big influencer for Omar

    Biggest Challenges:

    • Myself. All entrepreneurs go through the same type of struggle while building their business(es). There’s a battle within that includes self-doubt and a lack of self-esteem. Staying positive is important to push down these negative thoughts.  LISTEN UP to understand our low moments relate to persistence, tenacity, and attitude and the reason why Omar’s mentors picked him to train. Additionally, mentors and outside influences who have experienced the same types of thoughts are an asset to any entrepreneur.

    Life’s Lowest Point:

    • At one point, Omar was stuck in a rundown studio apartment, and wondering “what happened?” Depression and disappointment set in and caused Omar to reflect on his past goals and how he had lost focus.     In 2008 Michelle started thinking and asking God “What am I here for?” She remembered the vision she casted when she was 18 to help motivate, inspire and encourage people. Eventually she saw herself back with Zig Ziglar but 1st she wrote a book before going back to work with Zig Ziglar. She wrote the book in 2008 just for her to share stories with her kids about life. She hit best seller in a couple of categories and then she was asked to speak, coach and do seminars. By following a prompting to write a book she feels she has an accidental business which allows her to fulfill her dreams.  Michelle Prince says that as soon as you figure out what lights you up & it aligns with you Bigger Things will happen.

    Harvey Kosberg is a Certified John Maxwell Coach and Mentor. Owner of multiple companies and organizations.

    He created the teaching method of “Growing Your Business God’s Way” which is designed to grow a business owner with Bible teachings that Harvey uses for his mastermind and mentoring program.

    Harvey’s Story:

    • Harvey didn’t like the direction his life was going living in Washington D.C. in 1975. Harvey moved down to Fort Lauderdale, FL with his family. The move helped Harvey find Jesus. Harvey grew up as a Jew so when he watched the TV show “Robert Schuller Power Hour” he was surprised when he had his first supernatural experience. LISTEN UP as Harvey explains his experience and how his new pastor Dr. James Kennedy helped him.  Also Zig Ziglar personally gave him some advice to overcome his introvert personality to be successful in sales.

    Defining Success:

    • Harvey was successful in sales due to listening and trying what his coaches were suggesting LISTEN UP as Harvey shares the manner he tried what the coaches were teaching then his sales career soared.  Harvey also mentions not having to work a day in his life after 1975 and the experience of working with his two sons.
    • Gage success on the amount of money that is earned. Compare the income earned vs. the time you are putting in. LISTEN UP as Harvey also explains how directing your income shows your success.

    Growing up Jewish:

    • Grandmother was Orthodox and mother did not follow through with certain customs. Not growing up in a Jewish community influenced him not to practice his Jewish faith.  He knew about God from his grandmother.  LISTEN UP as Harvey tells us how becoming Christian and knowing about Jesus lead him to feel more Jewish.

    • Trained and coached by Zig Ziglar, Brian Tracey, Anthony Robbins, Mike Ferry, and Tom Ferry. Still being coached and mentored by John Maxwell. Even though he has had amazing mentors Harvey would tell you that Jesus has had the most influence in his life by the way he speaks about Jesus.

    Biggest Challenges:

    • Learning how to sell – LISTEN UP as Harvey takes us through his 1st sale and the advice his customer gave him.
    • Public Speaking was tough for Harvey.  It was the hardest thing he had ever done.  He was self-conscious about it.  LISTEN UP to hear the courses he took and where he practiced. Harvey says if you’re not nervous in front of people a group of people, you’re dead.

    Life’s Lowest Point:

    • During the Reagan era things were fine then the Gulf War cut Harvey’s business 50% and then the next month another 50% of prior month.  This was the 1st time he experienced this type of drastic downturn.  LISTEN UP to hear how Harvey went through the storm of Bankruptcy and what he learned about being a professional.

    • Almost 2 years ago Ken looked at the way he was doing thingsand at that moment He said to himself: What I was doing before is not want what I want to continue to do now. He also said: The way I was defined before is not how I want to be defined now. He started cut out things and simplify his life. LISTEN UPto see how he started with the small things in his life.

    • Ken says working together with others is the key since there is so much more we can accomplish together then on our own merit.     • Not a Mistake but a learning opportunity from the unplanned event of having a baby at the age of 24 years being single. Nancy recommends Book “Out Witting the Devil” about drifting through life. Her unplanned event put her life on track for success. If you are not trying new things life will stay the same. Life is about growing, change, taking risk and knowing that you can get up after falling down and do something again.

    Life’s Lowest Point:

    • Her marriage and soon to be divorce. Not being aware of signs self-confidence and self-esteem was her low.

    Epiphany – Decide to Go All-In Moment:

    • Time of 15:30 –In 2001 she ran a law firm for someone else and was not an attorney herself. The firm need to hire an attorney and things went well for a while but then the relationship with co-worker becoming sour and she then realized she had to go into business for herself. During that transitional time she realized she felt comfortable being the 2nd in command.She felt nudged out of the company and when she went into business for herself she realized the buck stops here which means she is completely and totally responsible. She was subconsciouswas afraid and when she stepped out on her own it was the most extraordinary and powering feeling she has experienced.

    Advice on how to be All-In:

    • Learning to trust yourself again, you have the power, the vision and the purpose inside of you. Making time to connect with that consistently to listen to the Spirit within you speak to you and guide you in that direction. The more that you do that the more synchronistic moments will show up in your life. The more on point to your purpose you are magic happens. It comes about when you are connecting to the inner Spirit/Source, Spiritual nature to God/Universe there are message contained yourself that are begging to come out.
